Little Christmas: A Fun Tradition in Ireland
I visited Ireland 3 years ago (How insane is that?!). And I have been waiting 3 long years to write a blog post about one of my favorite things about my trip to Ireland… Women’s Christmas! I just keep missing the deadline to post it. So we have had to wait all...
Ouarzazate Travel Diary: The REAL Tour Begins
Of course, when visiting a country you have to go to the most popular cities. But they are also normally the most touristy and do not give you an authentic view of the country. That is why I am so excited to be writing this Travel Diary entry from a bus that is on the...
Marrakech Travel Diary: Marrakechin’ Around Town
Day 1 I still can’t believe that I am in Africa, and I have already finished my first 3 days in Morocco! For days 1-3 of this trip, we stayed in Marrakech… and I still don’t know the correct spelling! I have seen it spelled both Marrakesh and Marrakech, so if you have...

Meet Briana
Hey! I’m Bri, a twenty-something travel enthusiast who has a dream to see the world. I found my love of traveling solo in 2015 when I had a group trip planned, and one by one everyone except me bailed. I decided I had put too much into this trip to quit now, so I went solo.
I became obsessed! There was no schedule to attend to and I learned so much about myself. Now my goal is to help everyone learn to travel safely and responsibly, and have the courage to do it all by yourself.
Whether you are a seasoned traveler or planning your first trip, you have come to the right place. I will do everything I can to help you reach your travel goals, while sharing my adventures along the way.
Skin Benefits of the Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon, a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. The man-made geothermal spa has an abundance of silica, which is what drew people to bathe in the water in the first place. So what exactly is in the water? What makes it so special? Well, the answer to that is three main active ingredients; Silica, Algae, and Minerals. These are what make it so great for your skin, but not so great for your hair.
Visiting the Blue Lagoon
When you think about visiting Iceland, there is no doubt that the Blue Lagoon is on your list of places to visit. This is one of the most popular destinations in Iceland, and there is a good reason for it; relaxation. There are some things to know before you go, but I promise it is well worth the trip… unless you don’t like feeling relaxed and refreshed at the end of the day.
Scotland and Iceland Travel Diary: The Last Days
Day 2 in Edinburgh was my day to delve into the world of Harry Potter. Kyra went on a tour of the Highlands, but I wanted to spend another day in the city to explore and be a solo traveler. Edinburgh is the birthplace of Harry Potter, and as soon as you arrive in the city you can see inspiration everywhere. I truly felt like I was in the world of Harry Potter.
Scotland Travel Diary: Exploring Scotland
Woo! Kyra, a girl I met on my Iceland tour, and I made it to Edinburgh, Scotland! I have been dreaming of visiting here for quite some time, so actually being here is a little surreal. Our day started off interesting on the bus to the Reykjavik airport. The bus ended up getting to our hotel 30 minutes early, making us rush down to catch it, then the people we sat next to were coughing up a storm without trying to cover their mouths. Kyra and I were literally sitting in the aisle because we were trying to get as far away as possible from them.
