Baseball season is officially here, and my favorite team is none other than the Boston Red Sox! This team is about as American as it gets, and even if you’re a Yankee fan (boo!), you can still appreciate what Fenway has to offer. After all, it is the oldest park in Major League Baseball, so you know it has some amazing stories. The team has an even more amazing fan base that is always supportive, through curses and all which will make your trip to Fenway a memorable one.
After leaving Ireland, I headed to Birmingham, England to meet a family friend who has known my mom since before I was even born. When I arrived, we had planned to go to a pub, but I was pretty sick so we headed back to his house to call it a night. I had a cough throughout Ireland, but it seemed that as soon as I landed in Birmingham it got 10 times worse. I wasn’t going to let that slow me down at all, and the next day Adrian took me to Stratford. Stratford is the home of Shakespeare, where he was born, grew up, and eventually came back to settle down with his family. He is even buried in a church in Stratford.
Bonvoyagewithbri.com has opened up my eyes to a lot of events and destinations that I never even knew about in the past. I am so thankful that I have done more research due to my blog, because I have found so many wonderful gems like Buckelew Farm! I came across this farm while researching Halloween events for 2016 in Tucson, AZ. I found that in October they hold a Pumpkin Festival and Corn Maze, as well as a haunt event at night called Terror in the Corn. This past Saturday I attended both events, and had so much fun. If you are in the Tucson area, make sure to take a trip down to Buckelew Farm and enjoy some October festivities.
Old Tucson is the perfect place to go for a western experience, and it has a pretty impressive film history with over 300 movies and TV shows filmed on property! Old Tucson is a must do for people living in or visiting Tucson, AZ. Throughout the month of October, they host an event called Nightfall. This year’s event is from September 29th – October 31st and the entire town becomes a very scary destination. I was lucky enough to attend this year’s event with a very fun group of friends. We made sure to see and do everything to make sure I had all the info to pass onto you!
